Role Overview

We are looking for a JDE EnterpriseOne Technical Specialist with strong foundational experience in JDE E1 technical development and JDE ORCH

The candidate will primarily work as an individual contributor, supporting development, enhancements, and production issues while building expertise in JDE technical components.

Key Responsibilities

JDE Technical Development

• Develop and customize:
• Event Rules (ER)
• Named Event Rules (NER)
• Work on:
• Forms (FDA) and Reports (RDA/UBE)
• Perform object modifications, customizations, and enhancements

Application Support & Maintenance

• Troubleshoot and debug JDE applications and batch jobs
• Fix defects and support SIT/UAT cycles
• Assist in issue root cause analysis

Data Handling & Conversions

• Work on:
• Table conversions
• Data uploads and extracts
• Support integration-related data activities

Integration Support (Basic Exposure)

• Assist in integration activities using:
• Flat files / Z tables
• APIs / third-party systems
• Work with senior team members on integrations

(Note: At this level, integration is mostly support-oriented, unlike Lead/Architect roles)

Project Delivery Support

• Understand technical design documents (TSD)
• Support development based on functional/technical specs
• Participate in testing and deployment activities

Required Skills

Core JDE Technical

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in:
• JDE E1 Technical development
• ER, NER, UBE
• Understanding of:
• JDE tables, business views, and data structures
• Object Management Workbench (OMW)

Tools & Technologies

• Programming: C (for BSFN), SQL
• Experience with:
• FDA / RDA development
• Debugging tools
• Basic exposure to:
• Interfaces and integrations

Database Skills

• Good SQL knowledge (Oracle preferred)
• Ability to query and analyze data
