Role Summary

This role requires deep expertise in software architecture, system design, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and distributed systems, along with the ability to mentor engineering teams and guide critical technical decisions across the product lifecycle. This role acts as the bridge between business requirements, product strategy, and engineering execution, ensuring that complex systems are architected with long-term scalability, reliability, and maintainability in mind

Ideal Candidate

• 510 years of backend engineering experience
• Strong expertise in distributed systems & scalable backend architectures
• Deep understanding of databases, query optimization & performance
• Experience building high-scale backend infrastructure
• Strong problem-solving mindset & ownership

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Discovery

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Identify opportunities through user research and data
• Translate business goals into product initiatives

Product Development & Execution

• Write PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Work with engineering and design to ship features
• Drive sprint planning, execution, and delivery

Data & Growth

• Track key metrics (activation, retention, engagement, revenue)
• Run experiments and A/B tests
• Make data-driven product decisions

User Experience & Product Improvement

• Gather user feedback and iterate continuously
• Improve usability and product experience
• Simplify complex workflows into intuitive solutions

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and leadership
• Communicate updates and progress clearly
• Align teams on priorities and outcomes
