Teamcenter Technical–Functional Consultant

Role Summary

We are looking for a Teamcenter TechnicalFunctional Resource who can work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, define functional design, and provide solution architecture for Teamcenter-based PLM implementations.

This role goes beyond pure configuration or development. The ideal candidate will own the functional scope, design architecture-level solutions, and guide development teams throughout implementation.

1. Requirements & Functional Ownership

• Engage with business users to understand PLM requirements across product lifecycle processes
• Translate business needs into functional requirements and solution scope
• Define Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and solution blueprints
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams

2. Teamcenter Functional Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with Teamcenter PLM
• Deep understanding of:
• Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
• Workflow Management
• Change Management (ECR, ECO, ECN)
• Classification, BOM, and Document Management
• Experience with Teamcenter configurations and best practices

3. Architecture & Technical Guidance

• Design high-level and low-level solution architecture for Teamcenter implementations
• Define integration approaches, data flows, and system interactions
• Provide architect-level direction to developers
• Review technical designs and ensure alignment with functional scope

4. Development & Integration Awareness

• Working knowledge of:
• Teamcenter customization concepts
• ITK / SOA / RAC / Active Workspace
• Experience with T4S (Teamcenter for SAP) is a plus
• Ability to guide ERP integrations (SAP preferred)

5. Delivery & Collaboration

• Support development teams during implementation and testing
• Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and validation
• Assist in UAT and solution sign-off

• Architecture guidance for development teams
• Strong alignment between business expectations and technical delivery
• Successful implementation support through build and UAT
