Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Team Leader Architecture to lead and coordinate architectural project teams while ensuring smooth project execution and delivery.

This role is ideal for an Architect with experience serving international Architectural and Construction firms, ready to take ownership of project delivery, team coordination, quality control, and process improvement initiatives.

The selected candidate will work closely with the senior leadership team at Tesla Outsourcing Services to ensure high-quality execution of projects, efficient team management, and timely delivery across multiple international projects simultaneously.

The ideal candidate should be technically strong, proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of handling QA/QC responsibilities along with managing a small production team in a fast-paced international work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Team Coordination:

Lead and manage a small team of Architects

Handle multiple Architectural and BIM projects simultaneously across different international clients

Manage Architectural projects from project estimation to final delivery

Coordinate with Project Architects, Revit Architects, BIM Modelers, and Drafting teams

Allocate tasks, monitor team productivity, and track project progress

Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards

Prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage project schedules effectively

Ensure smooth coordination between teams while managing overlapping project deadlines

Provide technical guidance and resolve team-level project challenges

Track project milestones and ensure adherence to the client deadline

Standards & Execution:

Support the implementation of International Architectural Building codes, BIM protocols, workflows, and best practices

Assist in developing and maintaining BIM Execution Plans (BEP)

Ensure compliance with international standards and codes such as IBC, IRC, ADA, RIBA, etc.

Support multidisciplinary BIM coordination workflows

Contribute to standardization of internal BIM and documentation practices

Quality Assurance & Control:

Conduct detailed QA/QC reviews

Verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client standards and international codes

Review SD, DD, CD, Permit, and As-Built drawing sets before final delivery

Ensure all deliverables follow company BIM standards, workflows, and QA procedures

Identify technical issues, drafting inconsistencies, and coordination conflicts and provide corrective solutions

Coordinate with internal teams to maintain project quality and delivery timelines

Monitor project productivity while maintaining high accuracy standards

Client Coordination & Communication:

Participate in client meetings, coordination calls, and technical discussions

Understand client requirements, expectations, and project scope

Assist in project scope understanding, execution planning & strategies

Ensure clear and professional communication between internal teams and clients

Maintain effective coordination with international clients throughout project execution

Team Development & Leadership:

Handle and mentor a small team of Architects and BIM Modelers

Support onboarding and training of new team members

Conduct internal technical guidance and QA/QC sessions

Review team deliverables and provide constructive feedback

Track team performance, productivity, and skill development

Support hiring and team development initiatives

Maintain a positive and collaborative team environment

Assist in conducting internal training sessions

Encourage continuous skill development within the team

Innovation & Automation:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and task automation

Work with tools like Dynamo or other BIM technologies to enhance workflows

Stay updated with the latest tools, trends, and industry practices

Problem Solving & Team Support:

Address project challenges and provide solutions proactively

Conduct one-on-one meetings with team members to track progress and concerns

Support the Project Manager, HOD in team performance management

Assist in improving overall team efficiency and project coordination

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture

Experience: 57 years of experience in the AEC industry, along with expertise in handling global projects.

Experience in handling small teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously preferred

Technical Proficiency:

Strong expertise in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks

Experience in BIM Coordination, BIM Implementation, and BEP-based project execution

Strong understanding of Architectural Construction Documentation

Experience in SD, DD, CD, Permit, and As-Built drawing sets

Familiarity with medium and large-scale project workflows

International Project Exposure

Experience working on projects for clients in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia or Europe preferred

Desired Expertise to Add Value:

Knowledge of Dynamo / BIM automation tools / International code knowledge

Understanding of ISO 19650 standards

Experience in Scan to BIM / As-built modeling

Exposure to 4D BIM or construction sequencing
