Hiring: Cloudera/Kafka Support Engineer (L2) | Remote | Permanent | Mindteck
We are looking for a skilled Cloudera/Kafka Support Engineer (L2) to join our team at Mindteck. If you enjoy working on large-scale data platforms and thrive in a 24/7 support environment, this could be a strong fit.

Experience: 3+ years (L2 Support)
What you will be working on:
Managing and supporting Cloudera CDH clusters (100+ nodes) in production
Operating Confluent Kafka clusters on Kubernetes
Handling Kafka deployments including topics, connectors, streams, and schemas (CLI/UI)
Troubleshooting production issues, log analysis, and incident resolution
Supporting 24/7 production environments with strict SLA adherence
What we are looking for:
Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix commands
Proven background in big data production support environments
Experience with Cloudera administration and upgrades
Solid understanding of Kafka ecosystem
Technical skills in SQL, Shell scripting, Python, Excel
Familiarity with ticketing tools (HPSM)
Good grasp of ITIL processes
Strong communication skills and ownership mindset
