The Development Senior Manager role is accountable for our multi-technology development team based in India. This role is responsible for ensuring the India Hub Development resources are aligned to the proper technology needs and contributing to delivery management, and resource management in SAP, Digital, Automation, Integration, Salesforce & DevOps development adhering to ADM Applications platforms strategic business delivery plan.


Job Requirements:

  • Deliver all development activities related to Integration, Digital, Salesforce, RPA Automations, DevOps, and SAP implementations, upgrades, production support and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business strategy and ADM transformation.
  • Deep project management skills to manage various project deliverable and knowledge of software development lifecycle including agile and waterfall.
  • Ensure all development activities adhere to change control procedures (ex. SOX, ITGC), audit requirements, and are properly documented for operational support and audits.
  • Supervise assigned development teams (SAP, Integration, Salesforce, RPA, DevOps), providing technical guidance, coaching, and performance feedback through 1:1 meeting.
  • Work closely across Solution Delivery and Service Delivery to understand requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
  • Possess continuous improvement mindset, with ability to gauge bottlenecks involved, utilizing overall knowledge of systems, processes and functionalities
  • Partner on process improvements, standards, strategies, runbooks and frameworks to optimize the development management process and increase efficiency
  • Maintain and review metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong ability to understand RAID, ability to mitigate risks and resolve issues quickly by using appropriate channels and know when to escalate to senior management.
  • Exhibits ability to work both in a team environment and independently performing development manager responsibilities, with little guidance, and the ability to mentor and guide other development team members.
  • Demonstrated a high level of written, verbal, and interpersonal skills in communicating technical information, ideas, procedures, and processes with Senior Leadership across Business and IT.
  • Stay up to date with technologies, industry trends, and best practices, applying relevant knowledge to enhance development management practices.
  • Interact and deal effectively with all levels of employees while maintaining professionalism; willingness and effectiveness in challenging the status quo.
  • Maintains a positive work environment through teamwork & conflict resolution.
  • Expected to work occasional weekends, holidays, or a variety of shifts, when needed, to support production releases.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in technical discipline or equivalent with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT across varied technologies and streams with highly integrated suites or eco system of applications in various IT roles and overall 10+ overall IT experience.
  • Knowledge of various technologies, including but not limited to DevOps, SAP, Digital, and Salesforce, integration capabilities and automation.
  • Experience in .NET & react.
  • People management/ leadership/performance management mandatory 5+ years
  • Experience in PowerShell, or an equivalent scripting language (good to have).
  • Experience in Docker and container orchestration (good to have).
  • Understanding of Git and DevOps repositories.
  • Experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud development (good to have).
  • Knowledge of SAP integration technologies is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional implementation activities.
  • ITIL, PMP certifications are a plus.
  • Knowledge of testing practices and tools.
  • Understanding of governance and quality controls.
  • Excellent knowledge of Development Management, Software Implementation and Project Management processes.
