Founded in 2019, they are backed by marquee investors and angels. Unbox Robotics has recently raised series B funding of USD 28 mn which reiterates their investors faith and commitment to them. The company in the meantime is rapidly growing with the FY 25-26 revenue expected to grow 3X to approx. US 10+ mn. Buoyed by their success in India they have forayed into global markets with establishing overseas offices to propel their international marketing initiatives.


About the Role


We are seeking an experienced FP&A / Business Finance professional to drive financial planning, reporting, and analytical support in a venture-funded, high-growth environment.


The ideal candidate will have prior experience in organizations that have raised multiple rounds of funding from PE / VC investors, and should be comfortable operating in structured, investor-driven financial environments. This role will work closely with the CFO and finance team on financial modeling, business planning, treasury management, and board/investor reporting.


This is a high-ownership, analytical role requiring strong financial discipline and advanced Excel capabilities.


Roles & Responsibilities


Lead core Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities


Prepare and manage regular financial reports, including:

  • AR reports
  • AP reports
  • Cash position statements
  • Investment valuation summaries
  • Sales and cost performance reports
  • Develop and maintain financial models and business plans
  • Perform Budget vs Actual analysis and variance reporting
  • Drive preparation of MIS reports and management dashboards
  • Support treasury management and reporting
  • Conduct market and competitive research to support strategic planning
  • Assist in fundraising support activities, including financial data preparation and scenario analysis
  • Work closely with CFO and finance team for routine and strategic financial requirements


Requirements (Must Haves)

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A / Business Finance / Business Analyst roles
  • Prior experience in companies that have raised multiple funding rounds from PE / VC investors
  • Strong hands-on expertise in financial modeling and business planning
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (mandatory)
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Experience in preparing structured management and investor reports
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment


Good to Have

  • Experience across Series C, D, E funding rounds
  • Exposure to IPO preparation processes
  • Experience working directly with CFO / senior leadership
  • Background in tech / startup / growth-stage companies
  • Experience58 years of relevant experience in FP&A / Business Finance
  • Venture-funded / PE-backed organization experience strongly preferred

Qualification


MBA (Finance) / PG Diploma in Finance / Chartered Accountant (CA)
