Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neo4j Senior Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable graph database platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Neo4j, strong exposure to AWS cloud services, and a solid understanding of platform engineering, automation, and system reliability. This role requires a blend of technical excellence and stakeholder management skills to drive platform performance and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Neo4j Platform Management:
• Design, deploy, configure, and manage the Neo4j database platform, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Cloud Deployment & Infrastructure (AWS):
• Build and manage Neo4j environments on AWS services such as EC2, EKS, S3, VPC, and IAM, ensuring secure and efficient cloud architecture.
• Monitoring & Observability:
• Develop and maintain monitoring frameworks, logging mechanisms, and health dashboards to proactively identify and resolve system issues, ensuring platform reliability.
• Automation & PoC Development:
• Create Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and implement automation using scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Shell) to improve operational efficiency.
• Data Engineering Integration:
• Work with Databricks, PySpark, and SQL to integrate graph database solutions with modern data platforms and analytics workflows.
• Security & Networking:
• Apply strong knowledge of firewall configurations, network security principles, and access management to ensure secure platform operations.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Engage effectively with business stakeholders, conduct technical discussions, gather requirements, and manage expectations throughout project lifecycles.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Neo4j database platform administration and optimization
• Expertise in AWS cloud services (EC2, EKS, S3, VPC, IAM)
• Experience in platform monitoring, logging, and observability tools
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)
• Knowledge of Databricks, PySpark, and SQL
• Good understanding of network security and firewall concepts
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience
