Specialist - Software Engineering

Experience: 3–8 Years
Location: PAN India / Chennai (as applicable)

Primary Skills & Required Experience

• 3–8 years of hands-on experience in Full Stack Development
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture
• Solid experience in Node.js, including Express.js or similar frameworks
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, and CSS3
• Expertise in Angular 8 for building dynamic and responsive frontend applications
• Experience with both Relational and NoSQL Databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Hands-on experience with Version Control and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions)
• Familiarity with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (added advantage)
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Exposure to unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, Jest, Mocha

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java Spring Boot and Node.js
• Build responsive and interactive frontend applications using Angular and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend and third-party systems
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices
• Participate in the full SDLC including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams, architects, and product owners to deliver high-quality solutions
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues
• Ensure security, data protection, and compliance across all developed components
• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous process improvements

Secondary Skills – Operational & Security Support

Operational Maintenance

• Monitor and maintain CyberArk Conjur and AAM environments
• Perform routine health checks, patching, and infrastructure upgrades
• Ensure high availability and optimal performance of services

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide L2/L3 support for CyberArk CORE PAS, Conjur, and AAM
• Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, and performance issues
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex escalations

Integration & Onboarding

• Support onboarding of custom web applications and third-party systems
• Assist in implementing and maintaining custom connectors
• Ensure secure integration with enterprise applications and databases

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

• Maintain up-to-date operational documentation and configurations
• Create SOPs and knowledge base articles for recurring tasks
• Conduct training sessions and provide technical guidance to internal teams

Security & Compliance

• Implement and enforce Privileged Access Management (PAM) policies
• Ensure compliance with internal security standards and regulatory requirements
• Strong understanding of PAM principles
• Hands-on experience with CyberArk CORE PAS, Conjur, and AAM
• Familiarity with CyberArk REST APIs and custom connector development
• Relevant CyberArk certifications (Defender, Sentry, CDE, Guardian) are highly desirable
