Job Description

As a Specialist – Internal Audit (IT SOX testing), you will support Nasdaq’s audit function by planning, performing testing, and reviewing IT SOX controls. This will also include discussions with control owners & the SOX Center of Excellence (“COE”) on the additional Provided by Client (“PBC”) requests & potential issues identified, and having close coordination with the external auditors on the reliance controls.

Join the Nasdaq Internal Audit organization, we work closely with the core business lines to ensure the company has controls in place to mitigate the risks that could affect the viability of our businesses. Using a risk-based approach, we examine new and existing processes that could pose a risk to Nasdaq and evaluate the control environment that exists to manage those risks.
Your Roles and Responsibilities include :
As a Specialist – Internal Audit (IT SOX testing), your focus will be testing & reviewing of SOX IT controls, predominantly ITGC. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.
- Planning & Performing SOX control testing for the assigned ITGC & ITAC controls
- Reviewing IT SOX controls
- Testing of migration controls during system migrations/adoption of new systems
- Meeting the timelines and expectations from external auditors for reliance controls
We expect you to have: (Minimum Qualifications)
- Minimum experience of 6-8 years in testing ITGC & ITAC controls (predominantly ITGC).
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- High proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good understanding of ‘IT Change Management’ process & controls.
- Working experience with automation tools, such as Alteryx and Power BI, is a plus.
- Experience in managing ‘IT SOX testing’ program and understanding of SOX program/framework.
- Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent qualification.
It would be great if you (Preferred Qualifications) :
- Any Certifications, such as CIA, CISA are a plus.
