Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detailoriented Chartered Accountant to join the OTIS Finance Controller team. The role requires strong accounting expertise, GL knowledge, exposure to both US GAAP and Indian GAAP, and experience managing finance operations in a manufacturing environment. The individual will work closely with global teams, external partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger & Accounting

Manage endtoend GL activities including month-end and quarter-end closing.

Support and review statutory audit and internal audit requirements.

Ensure accurate accounting in line with US GAAP and Indian GAAP.

Perform periodic reconciliations and review journal entries for correctness.

Reporting

Prepare and submit timely monthly US GAAP financials.

Drive Indian GAAP reporting, including schedules, adjustments, and disclosures.

Assist in quarterly submissions and group reporting requirements.

Accounts Payable Management

Supervise the outsourced Accounts Payable operations.

Ensure timely vendor payments and resolution of escalations.

IFC & Compliance

Liaise with teams and auditors for Internal Financial Controls documentation and testing.

Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory norms.

Stakeholder & Global Coordination

Collaborate quarterly with global finance teams on reporting and audits.

Serve as a key point of contact for regional and global controller groups.

ERP & Process Improvement

Work on ERP systems, ensuring accuracy of financial data.

Support automation and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills

34 years of post-qualification experience in finance, accounting, audit, or controllership.

Strong knowledge of GL accounting and financial controls.

Experience in manufacturing industry is preferred.

Hands-on experience with ERP systems.

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
