Software Developer (Autodesk Platform Services)

Job Role:

An Autodesk Platform Services (APS) Developer with a strong background in the AEC industry, to develop integrated cloud and desktop-based solutions with Autodesks ecosystem to drive automation, collaboration, and productivity across the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Min 2 + years of experience in development experience in the AEC automation domain and 1+ years of experience in Autodesk Platform Services (APS/Forge).
• Proficiency in C#/.NET, ASP.NET & Python languages.
• Hands-on experience with Autodesk Platform Services (APS/Forge).
• Experience developing plugins using the Revit API, including custom UI elements.
• Strong grasp of WPF and MVVM architecture for desktop app interfaces.
• Strong understanding of BIM 360 / ACC APIs and cloud-based workflows.
• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, OAuth 2.0, and web technologies.
• Experience with Git version control and GitHub-based workflows (issues, PRs, branches).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cloud applications using Autodesk Platform Services (formerly Forge) APIs, including Model Derivative, Data Management, Viewer, and Design Automation.
• Build custom integrations between Autodesk tools (Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360/ACC) and project-specific workflows.
• Automate common AEC processes like model conversion, data extraction, clash detection, and document generation.
