Hiring: SRE / DevOps Engineer

Cloud:

• Jenkins (basics) & Git actions & Argo CD.

• Ticketing , stack management.

• Docker.

• Kubernetes Core concepts.

Primary Responsibility

Primary work would be on SRE, Focusing Incidents, Azure monitors alerts, Tracing with Dynatrace.

Required Exposure & Experience

• Previous experience in ServiceNow.
• Exposure on Multi cloud, AWS/Azure, AKS, EKS, CloudWatch, Az Monitor,
• Loki Grafana Tempo Mimir Stack with Open telemetry.
• GitHub Actions for CI.

Operations Experience

1. Proficiency in leveraging GitHub actions and Helm charts deployment is imperative.
2. Understanding the functionality of Helm Charts and the interplay of various Kubernetes objects such as ConfigMap, Secret, PersistentVolume (PV), PersistentVolumeClaim (PVC), Service (SVC), Deployment, and Ingress is crucial.
3. Demonstrated experience in providing production support.
4. Proficiency in the ticketing process, encompassing acknowledgement, response, and collaboration with diverse teams.
5. Routine health assessments and dissemination of reports to stakeholders.
6. Aptitude in fundamental Linux commands and troubleshooting, including the use of tools such as curl, telnet, and ping, as well as diagnosing basic connectivity issues and identifying packet loss.
7. Daily health checks, meticulous documentation, and monitoring of infrastructure and applications in the production environment, including configuring alerts using monitoring tools and analyzing and resolving reported system or user alerts.
8. Ensuring the stability of the production setup and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, encompassing application, network, database, DevOps, and external vendor teams as necessary.
9. Proficiency in creating and monitoring Azure services, including virtual machines, PostgreSQL, storage accounts, containers, resource groups, managed identities, service accounts, service bus, AKS, ingress, as well as certificate management.
10. Proficiency in developing Jenkins pipelines for application build (CI) and deployment (CD).
11. Competence in creating Git Action pipelines, understanding Git runners, and establishing infrastructure using a bootstrapping methodology.
12. Proficiency in utilizing Argo CD for deployment and monitoring services.
13. Experience in Docker image creation and container inspection.
14. Proficiency in comprehensive documentation.
