Role Description

The Site Engineer Interior Projects is responsible for on-site execution of interior works as per approved drawings, ensuring quality workmanship, timely completion, and coordination with vendors, supervisors, and the design team.

Key Responsibilities

1) Site Execution

Execute interior works as per approved drawings and specifications

Supervise carpentry, electrical, plumbing, false ceiling, painting, and finishing works

Ensure work is carried out as per project schedule

2) Drawing & Measurement

Study and understand working drawings before execution

Take accurate site measurements

Coordinate with the design team for drawing clarifications

3) Vendor & Labour Management

Coordinate with contractors, carpenters, electricians, and other workers

Monitor labour productivity and workmanship quality

Ensure proper use of materials at site

4) Material Handling

Check materials received at site as per BOQ

Ensure proper storage and handling of materials

Track material consumption and report shortages

5) Quality Control

Ensure quality standards are maintained during execution

Rectify errors and rework issues immediately

Conduct regular site inspections

6) Site Coordination

Coordinate with designers, project managers, and vendors

Update daily work progress to management

Resolve on-site issues and delays proactively

7) Safety & Housekeeping

Ensure safety practices are followed at site

Maintain site cleanliness and discipline

Required Experience

Must have worked on at least 4 interior projects

Minimum 1 project must be a commercial interior project

Experience in handling complete site execution independently

Timely completion of site work

Quality of execution with minimal rework

Proper material management

Effective labor supervision

Reduction in site delays and errors
