Phorcys VX Marines Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a highly motivated Design & Simulation Intern to work on Indias first large-bore two-stroke marine engine test rig and lab.

This is a rare opportunity to work on a real 3 MW class large-bore marine two-stroke engine and contribute to advanced marine engine simulation, component design, combustion development, and dual-fuel methanol retrofit validation.

Location: On-site, IIT Madras Thaiyur / Discovery Campus

• Engine simulation and performance analysis
• CFD-based combustion and fuel injection studies
• CAD design of critical marine engine components
• Basic FEA / structural validation support

• MATLAB / Python for data analysis

Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Design, Ocean Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Thermal Engineering, IC Engines, CFD, CAD/FEA, or related fields.

Candidates with strong interest or experience in IC engines, combustion, marine engines, dual-fuel systems, component design, CFD, CAD, and practical engine validation will be preferred.

For students/research scholars, NOC / guide or institutional permission is required wherever applicable.
