Job Description
Office Location: Ghatkopar West
Compensation: 4 to 5 LPA
Job Summary
We are looking for a Service Engineer to support installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at customer sites across the pharma and chemical industries, as well as at our service center. The role involves both field and in-house work, with a strong focus on timely service, technical accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Product range to be handled: Chillers, precise temperature control thermostats, glass distillation equipment, vacuum pumps, high pressure reactors
Key Responsibilities
Visit pharma, chemical, petrochemical, automotive, engineering customer sites, etc. for service calls
Provide on-site and remote support to customers
Equipment installation and commissioning
Preparation of installation documents such as IO/OQ documents and more
Breakdown service calls and troubleshooting
Preventive maintenance and Annual Maintenance calls
Carry out repair and servicing work at the companys service center
Diagnose technical issues and ensure timely resolution with minimal downtime
Prepare detailed service reports after each visit and submit them on the same day
Maintain proper documentation of service activities, parts used, and customer feedback
Follow all standard operating procedures, safety norms, and equipment manuals
Work closely under the guidance of head office and align with instructions from foreign principals
Escalate complex technical issues or delays to head office in a timely manner
Ensure proper handling and care of tools, instruments, and spare parts
Support customers with basic operational guidance and best practices when required
Key Expectations:
- Same-day reporting discipline for all service visits
- High responsiveness to breakdown calls
- Adherence to technical manuals and company processes
- Professional conduct at customer sites
- Continuous learning and alignment with new technologies and principal guidelines
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation).
- 23 years of experience in service or maintenance roles
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to interact with customers professionally
Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites PAN India (Field based Job).
