About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Lead SEO, GEO & Organic Growth Strategy to lead our organic growth function, manage the SEO team, and build future-ready search capabilities across traditional and AI-led search ecosystems.

This role requires a strategic leader who can drive SEO performance, team management, client consulting, and emerging search capabilities such as GEO, AEO, and GSO.

The ideal candidate should combine hands-on expertise with leadership ability, driving measurable growth across rankings, traffic, discoverability, and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership SEO & Organic Growth

• Own and drive end-to-end organic growth strategy across client and internal projects
• Define long-term roadmaps for:
• Technical SEO
• Content SEO
• Backlink strategy
• Keyword expansion
• Organic conversion growth
• Identify growth opportunities based on market trends, customer behavior, and search intent
• Build scalable processes, SOPs, and reporting frameworks for the SEO function
• Work closely with leadership on strategic growth initiatives

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage the SEO team and junior resources
• Allocate projects and define ownership across team members
• Review deliverables for quality, strategic direction, and performance impact
• Set KPIs, timelines, and delivery standards for the team
• Conduct performance reviews and capability-building sessions
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of team members

SEO Strategy & Execution

• Review and audit websites for:
• Technical SEO
• On-page SEO
• Off-page SEO
• Content optimization
• Improve crawlability, indexing, site structure, internal linking, and metadata
• Define keyword strategies aligned to business goals
• Collaborate with development and content teams for implementation

GEO, AEO & Future Search Strategy

Drive the evolution of search capabilities beyond traditional SEO.

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)

Build strategies to improve visibility across AI-led and generative search ecosystems.

GSO (Generative Search Optimization)

Support leadership and business teams in:

• Client pitches
• POV documents
• Future search strategy decks
• Consulting frameworks
• Service innovation

Analytics, Reporting & Insights

• Monitor dashboards and reporting tools
• Track KPIs including:
• Rankings
• Organic traffic
• CTR
• Conversions
• Search visibility
• Present performance insights to clients and leadership

Required Qualifications

• 58+ years of experience in SEO / organic growth / digital marketing
• Proven experience in team leadership and people management
• Strong understanding of technical SEO and content strategy
• Exposure to GEO, AEO, and AI-led search trends
• Experience in client-facing strategy and presentations
• Knowledge of HTML / CSS is preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
