Senior QAD Developer

The ideal candidate is a self-driven, ownership-oriented engineer who can independently manage QAD development, customization, and production support in a live manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for building and maintaining QAD-based solutions, supporting enhancements, and resolving production issues with minimal supervision. You should be comfortable working directly with business stakeholders and operating in a fast-paced, client-facing offshore model.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and support QAD ERP solutions based on business requirements
• Build and maintain forms, reports, custom programs, interfaces, and data-level enhancements
• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical design and development tasks
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes
• Support enhancements, bug fixes, and ongoing system improvements
• Coordinate with client stakeholders and internal teams to ensure timely delivery
• Support SIT/UAT cycles and assist with deployment and stabilization activities
• Maintain clear and structured technical documentation for all changes
• Work independently during offshore support hours and provide regular updates on progress and risks

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 58 years of relevant experience in QAD development and support
• Strong hands-on experience with QAD ERP development and customization
• Solid understanding of QAD technical architecture and data structures
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, debugging, and backend support
• Experience working on manufacturing ERP systems and business workflows
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Experience working in Agile or similar delivery environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with US-based teams
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work with minimal supervision
