Senior Project Manager – FinTech / Banking Systems

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale financial platform.

This is a client-facing leadership role requiring strong expertise in project governance, stakeholder management, SLA adherence, and enterprise application delivery in banking/financial domains.

The role demands complete ownership of delivery, quality, timelines, and stakeholder satisfaction.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of application
• Ensure adherence to timelines, scope, and quality standards
• Drive sprint planning, execution, and delivery tracking
• Monitor progress and proactively resolve delivery risks

• Act as single point of contact for stakeholders
• Conduct regular review meetings, status updates, and escalations
• Understand business requirements and align technical delivery accordingly
• Ensure high client satisfaction and relationship management

• Define and enforce SLA frameworks for ticket resolution and support
• Monitor ticket lifecycle, TAT, and issue resolution quality
• Identify recurring issues and drive permanent fixes
• Ensure smooth coordination between business, development, and support teams

• Oversee accuracy and consistency of MIS reports and dashboards
• Work closely with data/MIS teams to resolve reporting discrepancies
• Ensure data validation processes and reconciliation mechanisms are in place
• Drive improvements in reporting performance and reliability

• Manage cross-functional teams:
• Developers (.NET/Java )
• MIS / SQL Analysts
• QA / Support teams
• Ensure accountability, productivity, and timely delivery
• Mentor team members and drive performance

• Identify project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks
• Drive mitigation strategies proactively
• Handle escalations from client/business teams effectively
• Ensure business continuity and system stability

• Strong experience in managing enterprise application projects
• Proven track record in banking / financial systems delivery
• Expertise in Agile / Scrum / Waterfall hybrid delivery models
• Strong understanding of SDLC and project governance frameworks

• Good understanding of:
• .NET / Web-based applications
• APIs and system integrations
• Database concepts (SQL, reporting systems)
• Ability to interact effectively with technical teams

• Experience handling MIS/reporting-heavy applications
• Understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and reporting workflows
• Ability to interpret data discrepancies and guide resolution

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience in handling client-facing roles at senior level
• Ability to manage expectations, escalations, and negotiations

• Banking / Financial Services (BFSI)
• Government / PSU projects
• Experience in lending / financial reporting systems is a plus
