Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Sr. IT Admin to oversee and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. In this role, you will manage Linux servers, VMware virtualization platforms, cloud services, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security. You will play a key role in troubleshooting complex technical issues, supporting business-critical applications, monitoring infrastructure health, analyzing logs, and resolving operational incidents. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong technical expertise, a security-first mindset, and a passion for delivering reliable and scalable IT operations.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Linux server installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting across Red Hat, CentOS, and Ubuntu environments.
• Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals, system performance tuning, log analysis, and root cause troubleshooting.
• Experience with installation, configuration, and administration of servers and services on AWS, Azure, and GCP (hands-on experience in at least two cloud platforms preferred).
• Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization technologies, including vMotion, DRS, HA, OVA deployments, and administration of enterprise VMware infrastructure.
• Experience with installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support of cybersecurity solutions such as: Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)Data Loss Prevention (DLP)Mobile Device Management (MDM)Firewalls Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)Simulators and other security/IT applications
• Strong understanding of application logging mechanisms and ability to generate, collect, analyze, and troubleshoot application logs and events..
• Strong hands-on experience with network infrastructure and security technologies, including Firewalls, Routers, Switches, and IDS/IPS configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with network and server monitoring, diagnostics, and observability tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, InfluxDB, Kibana, or equivalent solutions.
• Experience in installing, configuring, and administering SQL Server, Apache Tomcat, Microsoft IIS, and other enterprise applications.
• Experience with installation and configuration of simulators, as well as log/event generation and analysis from various devices and applications.
• Hands-on experience with SSL certificate installation, renewal, and configuration.
• Demonstrated ability to support, maintain, troubleshoot, and administer complex enterprise applications and infrastructure.
• Experience managing and maintaining enterprise-scale server, virtualization, and network infrastructure environments.
• Ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for infrastructure operations, application support, virtualization, cloud platforms, and operational troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration, Linux administration, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity tools, and network operations
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in enterprise production environments with high availability and security requirements
• Exposure to cybersecurity operations, event monitoring, and incident investigation processes is highly desirable.
