Role Overview:
As the Senior Manager Finance(FP&A), you will be a strategic partner to leadership, driving enterprise-wide financial planning, performance analysis, and business insights for Firstsource. You will lead forecasting cycles, bring rigor to budgeting, build executive-ready dashboards, and drive margin optimization. This role requires strong financial judgment, a deep understanding of business drivers, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that influence operational and strategic decisions. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen performance management and accelerate digital transformation across FP&A.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Reporting
- Lead monthly/quarterly financial reporting, forecasting cycles, and variance analysis with high accuracy and insight.
- Own end-to-end budgeting, long-range planning, and consolidation for business units or corporate functions.
- Develop and publish executive dashboards, leadership MIS, and business reviews with crisp narratives.
Strategic Finance & Insights
- Build sophisticated financial models, scenario planning frameworks, and sensitivity analyses supporting leadership decision-making.
- Conduct margin analysis, cost optimization reviews, and performance benchmarking.
- Partner closely with business teams to gather inputs, ensure alignment, and drive accountability through data-led recommendations.
Operational Excellence & Collaboration
- Work with cross-functional leaders across operations, strategy, delivery, and shared services to understand drivers and improve performance.
- Identify gaps in reporting, streamline processes, and support automation initiatives within FP&A.
- Drive standardization of FP&A frameworks, templates, KPIs, and best practices across the enterprise.
Business Strategy Support
- Provide financial insights for strategic initiatives, investments, pricing decisions, and business cases.
- Support leadership in board reviews, quarterly business reviews, operating plans, and ad-hoc strategic analysis.
- Contribute to building a modern FP&A organization enabled by analytics, visualization, and digital tools.
Preferred Qualification & Experience:
- CA / MBA (Finance) from a recognized institute
- 8+ years of relevant experience, with strong exposure to FP&A, corporate finance, or business partnering
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling
- Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems preferred
- Strong understanding of financial statements, business metrics, and operational drivers
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Competencies & Skills:
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and business acumen
- Ability to interpret complex data and convert it into actionable storytelling for leadership
- Proficiency in financial modelling, variance analysis, and forecasting techniques
- Expertise in building dashboards and reports (Power BI exposure is a plus)
- Ability to work independently under tight timelines while managing multiple priorities
- Proactive, dependable team player with strong collaboration and influencing skills
- Experience in BFSI, BPO, or large-scale multinational environments is an advantage
