Senior Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer | Bangalore | Immediate Joiners | 3+ Years

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in the Azure ecosystem and Databricks to join our growing team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Databricks and Azure (mandatory)
• Proven experience in end-to-end delivery of ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and enterprise-scale data platform components
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, query optimization, and performance tuning
• Strong hands-on experience with PySpark and Python for distributed data processing, transformations, and automation
• Deep expertise in Databricks, including:

Delta Lake

Unity Catalog

Databricks Workflows

Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)

Notebook development and Lakehouse best practices

Core Competencies:

• Strong coding standards with focus on modular, reusable, and testable code
• Expertise in Spark job optimization, SQL tuning, and storage optimization
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills in distributed systems and production environments
• Ownership mindset with experience across development, testing, deployment validation, and production support
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment with globally distributed teams
• Strong collaboration skills with active participation in code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentoring

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to AI/ML concepts, including model pipelines, feature engineering, RAG architectures, Azure OpenAI, or LangChain
• Experience with supply chain data domains such as procurement, logistics, inventory, or demand planning
• Understanding of SAP/ERP data structures in supply chain environments
• Experience working across the full project lifecycle, collaborating with API, backend, and UI/UX teams
