Senior CCM Developer /Architect

(8–12 Years Experience | BFSI / Insurance / Regulated Domains)

Role Summary

Senior Customer Communication Management (CCM) Developer / Author responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high‑volume, multi‑channel customer communications across print and digital channels. The role requires deep hands‑on expertise in leading CCM platforms and the ability to work across complex data models, integrations, and regulated delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities

CCM Template & Composition Development

• Design, build, and maintain complex CCM templates (letters, statements, notices, policies, regulatory documents) using OpenText Exstream (OTX / OTX Extreme), Quadient Inspire, and/or SmartCOMM
• Implement reusable content components, fragments, and rules to support content rationalization and standardization
• Manage template versioning, change tracking, and impact analysis across releases

Data Mapping & Business Logic

• Map and transform data from multiple sources (XML, JSON, relational databases) into CCM templates
• Implement complex business rules, conditional logic, calculations, and formatting
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of data presentation across batch, real‑time, and interactive document generation

Multi‑Channel Output & Delivery

• Configure and validate outputs across print, PDF, email, and digital channels
• Support batch, real‑time, and on‑demand communication generation
• Ensure compliance with branding, regulatory, and archival requirements

Integration & Platform Enablement

• Integrate CCM platforms with upstream and downstream systems using APIs and file‑based interfaces
• Work closely with application, data, and integration teams during end‑to‑end delivery
• Support CCM platform configuration, deployment, and environment setup in enterprise landscapes

Testing, Production Support & Governance

• Perform unit testing, defect resolution, and regression validation for CCM assets
• Support SIT/UAT cycles and troubleshoot production issues related to document generation
• Maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and audit artifacts
• Adhere to SDLC, change management, and compliance controls in regulated environments

Collaboration & Mentoring

• Collaborate with business users, BA teams, and compliance stakeholders to translate correspondence requirements into technical designs
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior CCM developers/authors
• Act as a technical SME during modernization or migration programs

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–12 years of experience in Customer Communication Management (CCM) development
• Strong hands‑on expertise in one or more CCM platforms:
• OpenText Exstream (OTX / OTX Extreme)
• Quadient Inspire
• SmartCOMM
• Strong proficiency in XML, JSON, SQL, and CCM‑specific scripting/configuration
• Experience with high‑volume batch and transactional correspondence
• Proven experience working in BFSI / Insurance / regulated environments
• Strong understanding of CCM lifecycle, governance, and release management

Good to Have

• Experience in CCM migration or modernization programs (legacy to modern CCM platforms)
• Exposure to content rationalization, document inventory analysis, and template consolidation
• Knowledge of accessibility or regulatory correspondence standards
• Experience working in Agile delivery models
