At NYX, we are building next-generation AI-native platforms focused on automation, observability, autonomous workflows, and scalable infrastructure systems.

We are specifically looking for highly ambitious technical talent from premium engineering colleges who are hungry to grow, build, and create long-term impact.

This role comes with a combination of fixed compensation along with meaningful equity ownership for the right candidates. We want builders who believe in creating exponential long-term value and growing alongside the company as NYX scales.

This opportunity can eventually lead to becoming part of the founding team, owning an entire technical vertical, and heading the backend engineering team as the company grows.

What Youll Work On

Build highly scalable backend systems, APIs, and platform services

Design distributed systems and event-driven architectures

Develop cloud-native infrastructure and automation workflows

Build AI-powered and agentic platform capabilities

Create integrations with third-party services and APIs

Improve observability, reliability, monitoring, and performance

Work closely with product and engineering teams to ship fast

Contribute to architecture decisions and platform scalability

Required Skills & Experience

48 years of strong backend engineering experience

Strong proficiency in at least one:

Python

Node.js

Go

Strong understanding of:

Distributed systems

REST/gRPC APIs

SQL & NoSQL databases

Queues and event-streaming systems

Strong cloud expertise in:

AWS / GCP / Azure

Docker & Kubernetes

CI/CD pipelines

Experience building and maintaining scalable production systems

Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and backend architecture

Strong technical foundation with a degree from a reputed/premium engineering institution preferred

Preferred / Good to Have

Experience with AI/LLM/agentic systems

Exposure to:

Temporal

LangGraph

Kafka

Vector Databases

Observability platforms

Startup or high-growth environment experience

Infrastructure automation & DevOps workflows

Multi-tenant SaaS architecture experience

Performance optimization & cloud cost optimization knowledge

Open-source contributions or strong side projects
