Security Engineer (Immediate Joiner)

As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and protecting enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve applying security skills to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes using Endpoint Protection and strong hands-on Trillex DLP.

Roles & Responsibilities: -

Design, implement and administration of security solutions to protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people against cyber threats.

Identifies issues and potential enhancements to security solutions and works with vendor and operational partners to correct issues and implement enhancement.

Support vulnerability scanning processes using tools, Track and verify remediation of identified vulnerabilities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security compliance and best practices are followed.

Provide technical expertise and support to resolve security incidents and breaches in a timely manner.

Draw Security measures and controls to assist the operations team with Secure Configuration for servers, Firewalls, Databases, Applications.

Assist GRC activities and initial vendor security assessments using questionnaires and checklists.

Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to ensure the security posture of the organization is maintained.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Technical Skills

• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, VPN, firewalls).
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Linux, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, DLP, BAS and IDS/IPS tools.
• Knowledge of malware types, attack vectors, and threat actors.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Quick learner with a securityfirst mindset.
• Good coordination and followup ability.

Good to Have Skills: Knowledge of other security technologies such as Proxy, VPN/ZTNA, PAM, WAF ,Deception technology.

Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, CSCRF and CIS.

Strong understanding of security concepts and principles.

Experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
