SDE IV - Backend

Description

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced SDE 4 to design and build scalable backend systems using Golang. This role involves owning critical services, driving architectural decisions, and mentoring engineers while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop highly scalable, reliable backend systems using Golang
• Own end-to-end service architecture, from design to deployment and monitoring
• Build and optimize RESTful / gRPC APIs and microservices
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security of systems
• Lead technical design discussions and drive best practices
• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, DevOps, and Data teams
• Debug and resolve complex production issues
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth
• Drive code quality, testing, and CI/CD best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
• 610+ years of software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Golang (must-have)
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
