SAP Testing Lead

Your role

"The Testing Lead (DI) is accountable for end‑to‑end testing strategy, governance, and execution for the SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation under the ampliFi program. The role ensures that SAP solutions are thoroughly tested, business‑validated, and production‑ready, in line with UBS quality, risk, and control standards.
The role partners closely with Business, Integration, Data, Deployment, and Technology teams to deliver robust SIT and UAT outcomes across entities and releases.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the SAP ampliFi testing strategy, covering SIT, UAT, regression, and non‑functional testing as applicable.
- Establish and enforce testing governance, standards, and sign‑off criteria aligned to UBS expectations.
- Lead SIT and UAT planning and execution, ensuring full end‑to‑end process and data coverage.
- Coordinate testing activities across functional, technical, data, and business teams.
- Ensure business ownership and validation of test results, including accounting, reporting, and control outcomes.
- Manage defect triage, prioritisation, and resolution tracking, ensuring timely closure.
- Provide clear testing status, risk, and readiness reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure testing supports auditability, control assurance, and production readiness."

Your expertise

Required Experience & Skills
proven experience leading testing for large‑scale SAP S/4HANA transformations, preferably in Finance.
strong understanding of finance processes, SAP delivery lifecycles, and end‑to‑end integration testing.
experience managing SIT/UAT governance in complex, global rollout environments.
ability to engage credibly with Finance SMEs, Controllers, and senior stakeholders.
structured, quality‑focused mindset with strong attention to risk and controls.
clear and confident communicator, operating effectively at Director level. experience in Automated Test scripts and AI assisted testing for SAP is a plus.
