SAP MM

Role Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Logistics Architect to lead the design, optimization, and governance of our global logistics and materials management (MM) processes. This role will drive strategic initiatives across procurement, inventory, warehousing, and supply chain operations, ensuring seamless integration with SAP MM and related modules. The Director/Associate Director will partner with business leaders, IT, and operations teams to architect scalable solutions that enhance efficiency, compliance, and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership
• Define and own the logistics architecture roadmap with strong emphasis on SAP MM.
• Align logistics processes with corporate strategy, compliance, and sustainability goals.
• Act as a thought leader in digital supply chain transformation.
• Solution Architecture
• Design and implement end-to-end logistics solutions leveraging SAP MM, WM, and integration with SD, PP, and FI.
• Ensure robust master data governance, inventory accuracy, and procurement efficiency.
• Lead blueprinting, gap analysis, and solution design for global rollouts.
• Operational Excellence
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement, warehousing, inbound/outbound logistics, and subcontracting processes.
• Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks for logistics performance monitoring.
• Oversee vendor collaboration and third-party logistics integration.
• Stakeholder Management
• Partner with business units, IT, and external vendors to deliver scalable logistics solutions.
• Provide executive-level updates and recommendations on logistics strategy and system enhancements.
• Mentor and develop a team of logistics analysts and solution architects.

Qualifications

• 1218 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or materials management.
• Strong expertise in SAP MM (Materials Management) with deep knowledge of procurement, inventory, subcontracting, and logistics execution.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a must.
• Consulting experience with Big 4 is a plus
• Proven track record of leading large-scale ERP transformations or logistics optimization programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex logistics requirements into scalable, executive-ready solutions.
