Job Description: SAP ABAP Consultant

Experience: 810 Years

Location: Bangalore / Hybrid

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze functional requirements and design, develop, or enhance ABAP objects in line with SAP best practices.
• Prepare detailed technical specifications for all ABAP developments.
• Document technical designs, test cases, and results.
• Perform unit testing, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and manage deployments.
• Develop and maintain integrations between SAP Sales/Service Cloud and SAP HANA (on-premise).
• Conduct impact analysis for system upgrades and implement necessary code changes.
• Act as a liaison with business users to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Handle change requests and emergency transports for high-priority incidents.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and mentor junior team members when required.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and support.
• Proven experience in at least two end-to-end SAP implementations, including at least one cloud implementation.
• Strong development experience in SAP modules: SD, MM, and FICO.
• Experience working in the Manufacturing domain is mandatory.
• Extensive experience in data migration from legacy systems to SAP, including planning, strategy, and template design.
• Good understanding of cross-module integration, especially between SD and other SAP modules.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
