Job Description

Role Overview


We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Program Manager with strong technical acumen to lead large-scale, multi-workstream Salesforce programs. The ideal candidate will combine program governance, stakeholder management, and deep Salesforce platform understanding to drive successful delivery across complex enterprise transformations.


Key Responsibilities


Program Leadership


  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large Salesforce programs across multiple clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Data Cloud, etc.)
  • Define program roadmap, milestones, dependencies, and execution strategy
  • Drive alignment between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners
  • Manage multi-vendor ecosystem and ensure delivery accountability


Technical Oversight


  • Provide architectural oversight and ensure alignment with Salesforce best practices
  • Review and guide solution design, integrations, and data architecture
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects on scalable and secure implementations
  • Ensure adherence to DevOps processes (CI/CD, release management)


Delivery & Governance


  • Establish program governance frameworks, KPIs, and reporting cadence
  • Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies across workstreams
  • Ensure timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality parameters
  • Drive Agile/Hybrid delivery models (Scrum, SAFe)


Stakeholder Management


  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and business stakeholders
  • Lead steering committee meetings and executive reporting
  • Translate business needs into technical execution strategy


Financial & Resource Management


  • Manage program budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization
  • Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects
  • Track ROI and business outcomes


Required Skills & Qualifications


Experience


  • 12+ years in IT, with 6+ years in Salesforce program/project management
  • Proven experience managing large transformation programs (multi-million $ budgets)
  • Experience in industries like Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Telecom, or BFSI preferred


Salesforce Expertise


  • Strong understanding of:
  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud
  • Salesforce Data Cloud / CDP
  • Integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft)
  • Data modeling and governance
  • Familiarity with Revenue Cloud / CPQ is a plus


Technical Skills


  • Understanding of:
  • Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Integration frameworks and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft)
  • DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, Jenkins)
  • Data platforms like Snowflake


Program Management


  • Strong expertise in Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence
  • PMP / SAFe / Salesforce certifications preferred
