Job Overview

We are looking for hands-on Robot Operators / Data Collection Specialists to support robotic system operations, teleoperation, and high-quality data capture activities.

The role involves operating robotic platforms (e.g., robotic arms / mobile robots), recording sensor and camera data, and ensuring operational stability during testing and deployment activities.

This is an execution-focused role suited for candidates who enjoy working directly with hardware and robotic systems in a lab or controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and teleoperate robotic systems using controllers or workstations
• Execute predefined testing and data collection protocols (SOP-based execution)
• Record and manage video/data using devices such as GoPro / Insta360 / onboard cameras
• Monitor robot performance during operation and report anomalies
• Assist in robot setup, calibration, and basic troubleshooting
• Ensure accurate labeling, storage, and documentation of collected datasets
• Follow safety guidelines while handling robotic equipment
• Support engineers during testing, deployment, and validation activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Robotics or related field)
• Basic understanding of robotics or automation systems
• Comfortable working with hardware and physical equipment
• Familiarity with Linux basics (preferred but not mandatory)
• Experience using cameras or recording equipment (preferred)
• Comfortable working in a lab/warehouse environment
• Willingness to work in shifts

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating robots or automation systems
• Familiarity with joystick/controller-based systems
• Exposure to ROS-based systems (basic level)
• Basic troubleshooting skills for hardware and connectivity issues
