Role Summary:


We areseekingRobotics/ Autonomous Systems Engineerwith hands-on experience in autonomous vehicle systems. This role involves designing, developing, testing, andoptimizingintelligent robotics solutions with a strong focus onsmart routing, pathoptimisation, battery monitoring, and smart operations.


The engineer will collaborate closely withsoftware, mechanical, and electrical engineering teamsto deliver scalable, safe, and efficient autonomous solutions.

Key Responsibilities


Autonomous Systems & Software Development


  • Design, develop, andmaintainautonomous vehicle software
  • Implementlocalization, path planning, motion control, and decision-making algorithms
  • Developsmart routing and pathoptimisationlogic to improve operational efficiency
  • Work withROS / ROS2, C++, and Python


Battery Monitoring & Smart Operations


  • Implementbattery health monitoring and poweroptimisationstrategies
  • Support energy-aware planning and system performance tracking
  • Analyze operational data to enhance system reliability and efficiency
  • Contribute tosmart operations and continuous improvement initiatives


Mechanical & System Integration


  • Collaborate withmechanical engineering teamsfor platform integration
  • Ensure autonomy behavior aligns with mechanical and physical constraints
  • Support integration of sensors, actuators, and embedded systems


Testing & Deployment


  • Support simulation, SIL/HIL testing, and real-world testing
  • Analyze logs and performance data for issue resolution
  • Assistwith deployment, commissioning, and operational support


Collaboration & Documentation


  • Work with cross-functional teams across locations
  • Participate in design reviews and system architecture discussions
  • Prepare clear technical documentation and reports


Required Qualifications


Education


Bachelor's degree inmechanical engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field


Technical Skills


  • Experience inautonomous vehicles or robotic systems
  • ProficiencyinC++ and Python
  • Hands-on experience withROS / ROS2
  • Understanding of:
  • Localization and motion planning
  • Pathoptimisationand control systems
  • Sensor integration and real-time systems
  • Familiarity withLinux-based development environments
  • Experience withbattery monitoring or energy managementis an advantage
