Research Intern (Quantum inspired technologies)

About us

We are Quarki-Tech, a quantum algorithm startup incubated at IIT Madras Incubation Cell and supported by the National Quantum Mission (Samngya Communication Hub). We are focused on building advanced optimization solutions at the intersection of quantum and classical computing.

Role overview

This role involves working on quantum-inspired approaches to solve real-world problems, combining machine learning and advanced computational methods. You will contribute to research, experimentation, and implementation alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

The ideal candidate holds a B.Tech or M.Sc. degree (or is currently pursuing one) in a relevant field, with working knowledge of Python and familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks. A strong willingness to learn, adapt, and apply quantum-inspired techniques to practical problems is essential.

Employment terms

This is a 3-month internship, extendable based on performance.
