Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Research Associate - Downstream Processing, based in Bengaluru. The Research Associate will carry out tasks related to protein purification, filtration, and formulation development. Responsibilities include executing downstream processing workflows, optimizing purification protocols, familiarity with scale down model qualification/validation studies and performing analytical assays. The role may also involve coordinating with other team members to meet project goals and adhering to quality and safety standards within laboratory operations.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with protein purification techniques, chromatography, and filtration methods
- Proficiency in analytical assays for quality control, including SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, and HPLC
- Familiarity with downstream processing workflows and formulation development
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and work collaboratively in a team-focused environment
- Knowledge of regulatory and safety compliance in laboratory research is advantageous
- Masters degree in biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field
- Prior experience in vaccine or biopharmaceutical research is a plus
