Role Description

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Research and Development (R&D) Manager. The job location will be at the LOQZ Head Office in Kondotty, Kerala. The R&D Manager will oversee all research and development activities, manage project timelines, and provide strong leadership to the R&D team. Day-to-day tasks include conducting and supervising research, coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing project budgets, and ensuring the timely delivery of innovative products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead new product development from concept to launch

* Integrate customer feedback into product features

* Ensure manufacturing feasibility and cost optimization

* Drive product testing and ensure IS/ISO compliance

* Innovate using sustainable materials and processes

* Build and mentor a high-performing R&D team

* Explore IP opportunities and technology-driven enhancements

* Collaborate cross-functionally to align with business goals

Qualifications

* Masters or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering

* Expertise in Research and Development (R&D) and conducting research

* Strong team management and leadership skills

* Minimum 5 years of experience

* Experience in project management

* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to work effectively on-site in Kondotty

* Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry is a plus
