Role: R&D Senior Manager Embedded Software (RTOS)

Location: Bengaluru

Experience: 10+ years

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead embedded software engineering team
• Own architecture, design, and delivery of RTOS-based systems
• Drive implementation of control algorithms
• Ensure project execution, resource planning, and delivery timelines
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineering talent
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with ISO 62304, ISO 14971
• Build and enhance engineering capabilities, tools, and processes

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in Embedded Systems + RTOS
• Proficiency in C/C++ (mandatory)
• Experience in low-level debugging (logic analyzer, debug probes)
• Good understanding of hardware-software interface
• Experience in system design, testing, and validation
• Hands-on experience with SDLC
• Team management experience

Good to Have

• Medical device / Pharmaceutical/ Biotech/regulated industry experience
• Agile methodology
• Experience in setting up labs / infrastructure
• Exposure to controls algorithms

Education

• BE/B.Tech (CS/Electrical/Electronics)
• Masters Preferred
