Responsibilities

Deploy and configure Microsoft Purview Unified Data Catalog across enterprise environments.

Design and implement data classification, labeling, and protection for sensitive data across

Azure and Microsoft 365.

Define and enforce data lifecycle management, encryption standards, and compliance policies.

Build governance frameworks to ensure data quality, discoverability, and regulatory compliance.

Generate governance reports and dashboards to provide insights on data usage, risks, and compliance posture.

Work closely with stakeholders, security teams, and data platform teams to align governance strategies.

Provide training, documentation, and best practices to drive organizational adoption of data governance solutions.

Requirements

Total Experience: 715 years (minimum 2+ years mandatory in Microsoft Purview Data Governance).

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview (Data Map, Data Catalog, Information Protection).

Proven experience in Azure Data Governance (security-only experience will not be considered).

Working knowledge of Azure services such as Data Factory, Synapse, Azure SQL, and Data Lake.

Experience with Microsoft 365 Compliance Center, Power BI, and security/governance tools.

Hands-on exposure to DLP, eDiscovery, IAM, and compliance controls.

Strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and documentation capabilities.
