Purchase Manager

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Purchase Manager role based in Jaipur. The Purchase Manager will oversee end-to-end procurement activities, including identifying vendors, sourcing materials, negotiating prices and contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of construction-related supplies. Responsibilities include evaluating supplier performance, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring all purchases meet quality standards, budget constraints, and project timelines. The role involves coordinating closely with project, finance, and site teams to forecast material requirements, manage purchase orders, and resolve supply issues. The Purchase Manager will also maintain accurate purchase records, monitor inventory levels, implement cost-saving initiatives, and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong procurement and vendor management skills, including vendor identification, evaluation, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Ability to plan and manage purchasing processes, including demand forecasting, purchase order management, and tracking deliveries against project schedules.
• Solid understanding of construction materials, specifications, and quality standards, preferably within the real estate or infrastructure sector.
• Proficiency with MS Office and experience with ERP or procurement software for data tracking, reporting, and documentation.
• Strong analytical, cost-analysis, and budgeting abilities with a focus on cost optimization and value-based purchasing.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification or professional certification (e.g., in supply chain or materials management) is an advantage.
• Prior experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar procurement role, preferably in real estate, construction, or infrastructure.

Salary - 40k - 55k per month

Experience - 5 - 10 years
