Position: Project Engineer PMC

Role SummaryThe Project Engineer shall be responsible for managing and coordinating pre-construction and post-construction engineering activities for projects under the PMC division. The role includes coordination with architects, RCC consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, government authorities, and clients to ensure timely execution, quality control, budgeting, and successful completion of projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Engineering / Design Coordination- Coordination with in-house architects for planning and design development.
- Finalization of architectural layouts and MEP designs in coordination with consultants and design teams.
- Finalization of RCC structural design in coordination with structural consultants.
- Coordination with MEP consultants for services planning, detailing, and execution.
- Preparation and review of project estimates, BOQ, costing, and budget analysis.
- Tender preparation, contractor evaluation, comparative statements, and tender finalization.
- Technical review of drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Attending meetings with Government, Semi-Government, and Private Organizations for project coordination and approvals.
- Coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and statutory authorities.
- Representation of the company in technical discussions, review meetings, and project presentations.
- Leading the engineering team for project execution and coordination.
- Attending site visits and inspections whenever required.
- Monitoring construction progress, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Coordination with contractors and consultants for smooth execution of work.
- Verification of contractor bills, measurements, and work certifications.
- Monitoring project costing, variations, and additional works.
- Preparation of project progress reports, MIS reports, and coordination records.
- Ensuring compliance with approved drawings, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Strong knowledge of RCC construction, architectural coordination, and MEP systems.
- Expertise in estimation, costing, tendering, and BOQ preparation.
- Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience in handling meetings with authorities and project stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and engineering teams efficiently.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and project documentation.
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in PMC, project management, or building construction projects.
- 1.5 Lakhs to 2 Lakhs per month (depending on experience, technical expertise, and project handling capability).
