Program Manager-Tech & Product

Vegrow is hiring a high-energy, execution-focused Program Manager to lead our data acquisition and annotation operations.

In this role, you will manage cross-functional teams responsible for both data acquisition and product adoption strategies.

About the Project & Your Role

At Vegrow, we are building state-of-the-art machine learning models that specialize in identifying and classifying fruit defects, along with several internal quality parameters, using images and videos.

These models are trained on high-quality image and video datasets and tested in real-world, challenging environments.

Your role will be to strategize and lead teams across both data acquisition and on-ground testing to ensure a smooth and scalable rollout.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Ground Fleet Management: Lead and coordinate field teams across multiple regions to ensure seamless and consistent data collection.
• Rapid Problem Solving: Act as the primary point of escalation for field bottlenecks. Be willing to operate on-ground to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Operational Decisiveness: Make fast, data-driven decisions to ensure uninterrupted progress of the data pipeline.
• Annotation Oversight: Manage annotation teams to deliver high-quality labeled data within strict timelines while maintaining data integrity.
• Pipeline Management: Oversee the end-to-end workflow from raw data collection to final annotated output.
• Process Optimization: Continuously improve data collection and feedback loops between field operations and the tech team.
• Testing & Adoption: Once the product is built, lead on-ground testing and drive adoption initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: IIT/NIT Freshers or 3-5 yrs of relative experience in program management, operations, or field-driven project execution.
• Field Readiness: Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site at mandis or grading facilities.
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage and motivate distributed teams under tight timelines.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate between field teams and corporate stakeholders.
