Job Description

- Own the Refurb S/S/N P&L revenue, gross margin, inventory, working capital.
- Build the sourcing strategy Ecotribe-sourced inventory (closed loop), third-party off-lease deals, OEM trade-in programs, broker market.
- Set refurbishment standards testing protocols, QC grade definitions, warranty terms, parts replacement standards.
- Hire and lead the team: Procurement Lead, QC Lead, Sales Executives, Senior Manager.
- Build the GTM motion through Channel (matrix with VP Channel Sales) and direct Enterprise where relevant.
- Coordinate with Maxtone on parts supply for refurbishment the closed-loop economics are a defensible structural moat.
- Coordinate with Ecotribe on the inbound supply of off-lease and EOL inventory.
- Manage the OEM relationships where relevant some OEMs (HPE, Dell) have explicit refurbished programs; navigate the OEM stance on refurb carefully.
- Set pricing typically 4060% of equivalent new pricing, with margin discipline reflecting refurb risk.
- 10+ years in enterprise hardware sales, distribution, or refurbishment leadership.
- Prior experience in refurbished enterprise hardware (servers, storage, networking) is strongly preferred this is a specialised market.
- Strong commercial instincts on pricing, margin management, and working capital.
- Experience building or running a P&L from a sub-scale base.
- Comfortable navigating OEM relationships where refurbished business creates ambiguity or tension.
- Prior leadership at a refurbished IT business
- Exposure to ITAD operations and the upstream supply chain into refurbishment.
- Familiarity with closed-loop circular economy business models.
- Business Head role with full P&L ownership.
- Direct reporting line to the Group CEO.
- Greenfield mandate to build a category from a sub-scale base into a meaningful contributor.
- Closed-loop strategic advantage that few competitors can match.
