Job Description

Presidency University is seeking a highly skilled and industry-experienced professional in Humanoids, Robotics, and Drone Technology to strengthen innovation-driven learning within the Presidency Makerspace. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on technical expertise and a passion for mentoring students to build multidisciplinary prototypes and innovative products.

Key Responsibilities

Provide hands-on guidance in humanoid systems, robotics, drones, and embedded technologies.

Mentor and work closely with student teams throughout the prototyping lifecyclefrom concept development to final working models.

Lead student groups in building functional humanoids, autonomous robots, drones, and intelligent systems.

Identify major innovation challenges and competitions and prepare high-performing student teams to participate.

Develop strategies to increase student engagement across departments in multidisciplinary innovation projects.

Conduct workshops, demonstrations, and mentoring sessions to Strengthen the makerspace innovation ecosystem.

Introduce industry best practices in prototyping, system design, documentation, and testing.

Support students in progressing from project ideas to product development, patenting, and potential startup creation.

Qualification required:

Bachelor's/Masters degree in Engineering (ECE, Robotics, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related fields).

Minimum 25 years of hands-on industry experience in Robotics, Drones, UAV systems, or automation.
