Job Summary:

We are seeking a Procurement Executive to manage sourcing, purchasing, and inventory of raw materials and essential supplies for our bakery operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Raw materials, procurement processes, market trends, supplier management, and supply chain operations to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of quality materials.

Key Responsibilities:

- Source and procure all raw materials and supplies required for bakery production.

- Manage inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production and minimize wastage.

- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and price fluctuations.

- Analyse procurement data, forecast demand, and implement cost-saving strategies.

- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards for all sourced materials.

- Collaborate with the production and finance teams to align procurement with business needs.

- Monitor and improve supply chain processes for efficiency and reliability.

- Prepare reports on purchasing, costs, and inventory for management review.

Required Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

- 35 years of experience in procurement within the food or bakery industry.

- Strong knowledge of inventory management, sourcing, and procurement practices.

- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.

- Good understanding of raw material markets and pricing trends.

- Knowledge of market analysis and forecasting.

- Strong communication/language, strategic thinking, and time management skills.
