Process Engineering & Data Analytics Manager (On-Site Saudi Arabia)

This role combines deep domain expertise in Oil & Gas / Process industries with advanced analytics, AI/ML, and simulation skills to deliver high-impact solutions, optimize operations, and support business growth.

The candidate will play a hybrid role across delivery, consulting, and pre-sales, bridging engineering knowledge with data-driven insights.

Job Description Process Engineering Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

AI, Analytics & Digital Solutions:

Design and implement AI/ML, predictive analytics, and optimization solutions for industrial use cases

Develop predictive maintenance, process optimization, and performance monitoring models

Work with data platforms, data engineering pipelines, and MLOps frameworks

Apply advanced analytics, including machine learning, GenAI, and AI agents, where relevant

Integrate AI solutions with process simulation and real-time systems

Process Engineering and Simulation:

Develop and deploy steady-state and dynamic simulation models for Oil & Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical processes

Lead the development of process optimization, debottlenecking, and control studies

Build and analyse models for equipment such as distillation columns, reactors, furnaces, heat exchangers, and rotating equipment

Execute real-time optimization (RTO) process applications

Strong understanding of Refinery / Petrochemical Processes.

Consulting & Client Engagement:

Engage with clients to understand business challenges and translate them into technical solutions

Support pre-sales activities, including solution positioning, demos, and technical presentations

Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and solution architecture design

Interface with stakeholders across industrial and public sector organizations

Ensure high-quality, timely project delivery aligned with scope and client expectations

Skills & Experience:

Bachelors degree in engineering (with masters or any advanced degree, diploma, or certificates in AI)

10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, Utilities, Power or Process industries

Strong understanding of process engineering, operations, and control systems

Knowledge of Process simulation tools, APC, Real-Time Optimization, and First-Principles modeling

Hands-on experience in AI/ML, predictive analytics, or data science applications in industrial settings

Hands-on experience with tools such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn

Understanding of data platforms and cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, etc.)

Exposure to data engineering, data governance, and MLOps

Strong experience in pre-sales, proposal development, and presentations

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Additional Advantages:

Knowledge of DCS/ESD systems and plant operations

Knowledge in Industrial Data Validation and Reconciliation Solutions.

Knowledge in Industrial Fuel Demand Modeling solutions.

Knowledge in Asset Performance Management (APM) solutions.

Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., SDAIA, NDMO)

Experience working with industrial and public sector clients in the Middle East
