Powertrain Engineer

Job Title: Powertrain Design Engineer/Stack up Analysis

Experience : 3+ years

Location : Chennai

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Powertrain Design Engineer to design and develop components such as air intake systems, fuel systems, and transmission parts, from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop powertrain components.
• Work on plastics, sheet metal, casting, and machining processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration.
• Perform tolerance stack-up (VSA) analysis to ensure proper fit, alignment, and functionality of assembled parts.
• Apply GD&T and maintain engineering drawing standards.
• Ensure timely delivery with high-quality output.
• Contribute to problem-solving and support innovation in EV/battery-related designs.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of powertrain systems and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in EV powertrain or battery pack design.
• Knowledge of CAD tools (CATIA/Creo/NX).
