Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Piping Designer for a 6month direct contract role based in Chennai. The candidate should have 6+ years of experience in Oil & Gas / EPC projects, with exposure to offshore and/or ARAMCO projects. Hands-on experience in Smart 3D (S3D), AutoCAD, MicroStation, and piping isometric extraction and checking is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and modify 3D piping models using Smart 3D (S3D)
• Prepare, extract, and check piping isometrics, GA drawings, and spool drawings
• Perform pipe support modeling, drafting, and checking
• Carry out 2D drafting using AutoCAD (ACAD) and MicroStation
• Ensure compliance with ARAMCO standards, project specifications, and industry codes
• Coordinate with stress, civil, structural, mechanical, and process teams
• Assist in resolving piping design and layout issues
• Support project execution for offshore/onshore EPC projects

Mandatory Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Piping Design (Oil & Gas / EPC)
• Exposure to Offshore and/or ARAMCO projects
• Proficient in Smart 3D (S3D)
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation
• Experience in piping isometric extraction, checking, and pipe supports
• Awareness of ARAMCO standards and piping design practices
