Role Description

We are looking for enthusiastic physiotherapy interns with a strong interest in neurological rehabilitation and technology-driven healthcare. This is an on-site internship based at IIT Bombay, Mumbai, offering hands-on clinical exposure combined with experience in digital health and medical devices.

Duration: 3/6 months

Responsibilities

• Assessing and treating individuals with Parkinsons Disease and other neurological conditions
• Delivering in-person and telerehabilitation sessions
• Participating in clinical trials while ensuring adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and study protocols
• Completing and compiling accurate clinical documentation and reports
• Maintaining timely and structured patient data and management across digital platforms
• Using basic data tools (Excel/Sheets) for tracking assessments, outcomes, and study records
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (clinical, research, product, and tech)
• Monitoring patients and reporting emergency situations to appropriate senior team members

Requirements

• Ability to maintain structured case documentation and data
• Familiarity with Parkinsons Disease, relevant clinical terminology, and neurological assessments
• Basic understanding of neurological conditions and assessments
• Experience in patient handling and rehabilitation planning
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, written, and spoken communication skills
• Basic computer literacy including MS Excel/ EDC
• Willingness to learn and work in a tech-enabled setting
• Comfort working in a technology-driven clinical environment

Indicative Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Physiotherapy, with a specialization in Neurological Physiotherapy preferred
• Relevant experience in neurorehabilitation is an advantage

Conversion to Full-Time Role

Interns demonstrating strong clinical skills, ownership, and adaptability will be considered for a full-time Physiotherapist role at Lifespark Technologies at the end of the internship.
