Physical Design Engineer

Hiring: Physical Design Engineer | 5+ Years | VLSI

We are looking for an experienced Physical Design Engineer with 5+ years of expertise in end-to-end VLSI physical design flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full-chip / block-level Physical Design implementation
• Work on floorplanning, placement, CTS, routing, and optimization
• Perform timing closure (setup & hold), congestion and power optimization
• Analyze and fix timing, SI, IR drop, and EM issues
• Collaborate with STA, DFT, and Physical Verification teams
• Support tape-out and signoff activities

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Cadence Innovus
• Good knowledge of ICC2 (Synopsys) is a plus
• Strong understanding of PD flow and methodologies
• Experience in timing closure and STA concepts
• Exposure to advanced nodes (16nm / 7nm / 5nm) preferred
• Familiarity with IR/EM analysis tools
• Scripting skills (TCL / Shell / Python)

Qualifications:

• B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics / Electrical / VLSI
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Physical Design
