What you'll do
This isn't a desk job where you wait for work to come to you. You'll own the office and everything that keeps it running.
- Manage day-to-day office operations supplies, facilities, vendors, and building coordination
- Handle courier, dispatch, and all inbound and outbound document management
- Provide administrative support to leadership and cross-functional teams: scheduling, calendars, memos, and reports
- Maintain and organise both physical and digital records with discipline and accuracy
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, calls, and general office queries
- Coordinate between departments on internal communications and task follow-ups
- Liaise with HR for employee onboarding logistics and assist with attendance and leave documentation
- Assist in organising company events, team outings, and internal meetings
- Maintain statutory registers and compliance records contracts, invoices, and agreements filed properly and on time
You won't be handed a checklist and left alone. You'll work closely with leadership & own your scope completely.
What you bring
- 13 years in office administration or a similar role
- Strong communication in Tamil and English spoken and written
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking ability
- Discretion with confidential information always
- A graduate degree in any discipline
- Based in Chennai and able to commute to Chetpet without issue
Good to have:
- Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with basic HR documentation and compliance records
- Experience coordinating vendor relationships and facility management
