Role Description

Kevitco Technologies is looking for a proactive and technically skilled NOC/SOC Operations Engineer to join our operations team in Bangalore. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, incident handling, security operations, and ensuring high availability of customer infrastructure and security environments

Key Responsibilities

--Monitor network, security, and server infrastructure using NOC/SOC monitoring tools.

--Handle L1/L2 troubleshooting for network and security incidents.

--Monitor firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM alerts, and endpoint security events.

--Perform incident response, ticket handling, escalation, and follow-up activities.

--Analyze logs and security alerts to identify threats or abnormal activities.

--Troubleshoot routing, switching, VPN, wireless, and connectivity-related issues.

--Work with TAC/vendor support teams for issue resolution.

--Prepare incident reports, RCA documents, and operational updates.

--Ensure SLA adherence and timely resolution of customer issues.

--Participate in shift-based operations and weekend/on-call support when required.

--Maintain operational documentation and daily health check reports.

Required Skills

--Good understanding of TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, VLANs, NAT, VPN, DNS, and DHCP.

--Hands-on experience with firewalls such as Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/FTD, Fortinet, or Sophos.

--Basic understanding of SOC operations, SIEM monitoring, and cybersecurity concepts.

--Experience with Linux/Windows server basics and log analysis.

--Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, Nagios, or similar.

--Knowledge of ITIL processes, incident management, and ticketing systems.

--Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

--Good verbal and written communication skills.

ITIL Foundation

Educational Qualification

BE, B Tech or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
